Ukraine support:
The Baptist Church on Crown St is open on Mondays and Thursdays during May and June, 10am-2pm, for Ukrainian refugee guests to the area to pop in, meet up, have a chat, perhaps cook together or have some help with learning English, with filling in essential paperwork, or just the chance to have a coffee or tea together. It has been a pleasure to meet the first of our visitors and we look forward to meeting more over the next few weeks. Thank you so much to our community for their amazing and generous support and welcome.
