Millom Pensioners’ Association – Every 2 weeks, 2pm at Tin Chapel, Mainsgate Road, Millom (unless an excursion). Membership open to over 55’s
Millom Prostate Cancer Support Group – Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7.30 for 8pm at Millom Rugby League Club, Devonshire Road. Please come along if you have any problems. We are here for you.

Haverigg Acoustic Afternoons – St Luke’s Hall, Glencoe Close, off Main Street. 1.30pm. All welcome for ‘Music jam sessions’. Enquiries – 07867 975126
Millom and District Flower Group – Tin Chapel, Mainsgate Road. 2-4pm. Last Tuesday of the month. Yearly membership. Warm welcome and great floral art demonstrations with a raffle to win the designs.
Wednesday
Kirksanton Stitchers – Kirksanton Village Hall. 2pm – 4pm alternate Wednesdays. £3.50 includes refreshments! Sewing, knitting, embroidery or any craft you enjoy.
Millom Scale and Railway Modellers – Above Haverigg Working Men’s Club. 7 – 10pm – or later if we get to engrossed in what we’re doing. £10 annual subs plus £2.50/week . Although the majority of the current members are more into railways, we can cater for any form of model making.
Phoenix Ladies Choir – practice at Millom Baptist Church, Crown Street. 7.30 pm. New members always welcome.

OTHER GROUPS
The Barras Meadow Players – A local amateur dramatics group based in Corney. Currently casting for ‘Grimm’s Tales’ to be performed in August under a brand new marquee. All levels of experience welcome, only requirement is a willingness to try. Contact Hannah Kessler on Facebook.
Adventures of the Cumbri-mums – A group for parents in the area to meet for walks, to go to groups, ask advice and post things going on in the area for others to go to. Being a parent can be lonely, but it doesn’t need to be. Find the group on Facebook.
